Looking for a fun event for you and your favorite 4-legged friend? DOGS’ DAY IN DADE CITY is where you want to be on Saturday, March 16th from 10 am – 2 pm at Agnes Lamb Park in downtown Dade City. This will be our 10 Year Anniversary and we are excited! There will be a variety of fun and free activities for you and your dog throughout the day. Decorate a wagon and join in the Dog Wagon Parade at 10 am. At 11 am, a Dog Costume Contest will be held. Our K-9 Challenge event has been a huge hit which we will be doing again this year at 12 Noon. Does your dog have a special talent? If so, don’t miss the Canine Got Talent? competition at 12:30 pm. You will not want to miss our popular event at 1:30 pm – Ice Cream/Yogurt Eating Contest! We will be offering a new event: Bow-Wow Rally which will operate throughout the day. Remember that all of your furry friends must be on a leash.
If you are interested in being a vendor, the booth fee is $20 for a 12’ x 12’ space (Non-Profits: $10), and you can register by calling 352-424-4972. The event is being sponsored by the Dade City Youth Council, Dog-Mania & Cats, Dade City Animal Clinic, Farmers Feed Depot, Green Door on 8th and A Pawsitively Good Day Pet Sitting. We are thrilled to have THE NEW BARKER magazine as the official magazine for DOGS’ DAY IN DADE CITY!
As a result of our 2014 DOGS’ DAY IN DADE CITY, a Pet Pantry was established which has been providing dog and cat food to those in need who are experiencing difficulty in feeding their animals. If you would like to support this very important cause, please visit the Dade City Animal Clinic, Famers Feed Depot and Dog-Mania & Cats.
Don’t forget to visit our “My Dog’s Diggin’ Dade City” Dog Park which is located at Price Park at Meridian Avenue and 12th Street. This is a great place to let your dog run around and meet new friends. Please read the Dog Park Rules which makes a happy place for all!
